| well Friday night was just brilliant, I was so proud of my son, he even managed the photo shoot afterwards and said that it didn't bother him. The award was presented by Sir Tom Farmer and he gave a great after dinner speech. The college were great and when my sons said he didn't feel comfortable making a speech it wasn't a problem, they just asked the 4 main award winners to stay seated and just read out why they were getting the awards. We were at the top table and made to feel very special - it was a great experience. | |

| Hey how is everyone today? - my nose is unblocked now and I can breathe again- feels so good. I think I will give myself one more day before getting back to the gym. I am working on some cards to take to the shop tomorrow so between that, catching up with all the housework thats been abandoned and doing my weights bench and wii active it will be busy enough At one time I would have been quite happy vegging on the couch for a couple of days but i felt antsy and bored out my skull - but too wiped out to do anything about it - I feel like I am back in the land of the living now. | |

| Glad you are feeling better Irnbru! At one time I would have been quite happy vegging on the couch for a couple of days but i felt antsy and bored out my skull - but too wiped out to do anything about it - I feel like I am back in the land of the living now Irnbru32 That is precisely how I feel and have been acting recently and it's so hard to snap out of it. Had to force myself to go on the treadmill this morning as I have not been on it for a couple of weeks and felt guilty about the amount of money it cost therefore it shouldn't just be a clothes horse & gather dust. Anyway had to get off it twice thanks to my youngest child, so rather than feeling positive I feel annoyed!! I know it would be easier to go on it at night (child wise) but I prefer to go on in the morning before I shower so I feel its a good start to the day. If I leave it until the evening I either can't be bothered or I'm too tired. Oh well......sorry for being miserable!! | |

| lol at holding back the excitement 4Angels, housework is so boring an repetitive and never ending - its such a bind. but hey its all calories - i like getting my exercise done in the morning - it sets you up great for the day - but I am growing to like the gym at nighttime - but I still have to "talk myself into it" sometimes it's like ironing - one of these things that seems to be a real chore - but once you get started its not that bad and by the end you think "you know I love ironing lol" The joys of potty training are a long distance memory for me now thankfully, I vaguely remember feeling like a nappy changing machine when my tribe were all under three lol | |

| I've swapped with Stella now so I'm bored at her workplace and she's running around after my daughter with loo roll in her hand!! (Stella I've done it 3 times already but it is still a bit of a challenge depending on the child!) You are right about housework being never-ending Irnbru! I have a pile of clothes as tall as I am, that in reality will be put away unironed because it would take far too long to iron it all! I iron on a 'need to' and daily basis, just what is being worn that day or the next. There are 6 people in this house so it stays vaguely tidy for a second and then is trashed again...it's soul destroying sometimes!! I'm not sure if it is because we have too much stuff or because nobody puts anything away!! don't even get me started on hoovering, changing beds, washing everything etc. it's all the things you have to do that you don't necessarily want to do. It doesn't stimulate the mind or even give me time to do anything other than food shopping!! OOOh housework rant now!!! I'd moan if I was at work, moan if I was on holiday, moan if I had millions and didn't have to lift a finger (ok maybe I would find other things to keep me busy then!)...are any of us totally satisfied with ourselves and our lives all of the time? Grass is always greener on the other side...and all that stuff!!!! Off to do something equally exciting now...like empty the bins and hoover up..oh joy...as she skips off!!!!

| housework is a daily battle isn't it. - drives you demented but it is great for that one moment in time when it is all squared away and you are on top of it before it creeps back into chaos.
How is everyone today? - I was going to do a spin class this morning but am still waiting for my gym stuff to dry in the tumble as its been raining here for days - lots of thunder and huge downpours. Am now contemplating dipping my toe in the water and going for a body pump class.
My Newton Faulkner gig last night was really great - he was talking as if it was mates in a livingroom just chatting away and making jokes and what an amazing vocal range he has - he played lots of new stuff as well as he was saying that he was almost finished his second album so hope that will be out soon - I will add it to the ones that I want at the moment as the list is getting longer lol. | |

| Glad you had a good night Irnbru. Yes housework is definitely a daily battle, I have to let a lot of it go over my head though and accept chaos to a certain extent or else I would never sit down or do anyhting but clean. Flaming laminate floor means I have to sweep and mop all the time cos it doesn't hide things as well as carpet and that drives me mad!! There was a lot of rain yesterday but it brightened up in the evening, today it is just cold and a bit dull. I'm just waiting around for lunchtime now (sad aren't I), might have to have it early!!!! | |

| well so much for good intentions - instead of getting to the gym and exercising I sat like a zombie with a killer headache and gave into my cheese craving - so annoyed at myself. I am going to get off to the gym to try and make up for it, it wasn't even low calorie cheese - so must pull my finger out. | |

| Hey Flax great to see you back - 12 hour days are a killer. I grabbed some overtime at the weekend and worked 8.30 to 10 over the weekend and I am sitting here like a zombie - and thats only two days all week must be knackering Learning a new job can be tiring too as you need to concentrate. I am pouring over the gym schedule and trying to work out when and what i am going to do there today - I am thinking that I could shift some serious weight if I maybe tried for 3 or 4 hour gym sessions so am needing to pick up a few classes. Mind you with me away all weekend the house is even more of a disaster zone than it normally is on a Monday so will have to tackle that too - all my lads have decided to gut out their rooms and as a result there is a Mount Everest of dirty clothes in front of the machine (I suspect half of them have never been worn either - just easier to chuck it in the laundry )so I have my work cut out for me there. I have been trying to have a big breakfast, a medium lunch and have a slimfast for my dinner to see if that will help nudge the weight loss along a bit so i will see how that goes. how is everyone today? | |
