| Oh no Starbuck - hope you are feeling better today? it's not easy feeling crap and having wee ones to run after - hopefully you are getting a chance to get some rest, don't worry about the exercise - you will soon catch up you are doing so great Hey Stella is that new man of yours keeping you up late? Well I am just sitting here faffing about and need to round up my gym stuff and get my butt along there. It's so nice i keep thinking that the garden is such a jungle it would be as good as a workout. | |

| aww lol never mind Stella - maybe another night. Well yesterday I went out and did tackle my jungle out back - it has been left to its own devices for so long and i bit the bullet. It was that bad I took before and after pictures. if i can get them resized i will post them I hope I am not boring people with details of my new found fitness - but at one time I would have tackled half the garden, would have had to stop as my back would have been screaming and I would have been aching for days and no way would I have piled up all the weeds, that would have been a job in itself. not only did I clear it all - (some of the weeds were literally taller than I was) but after getting up early and doing a ton of housework, going into work, going shopping and doing the garden - I still had energy for the gym and did a strenuous workout then a swim (I never even got there until after 9pm) and felt so damned good I am actually quite proud of myself. I love this feeling so much I just want to build on it and it's getting easier ad easier, I am just loving how motivated I am right now - I am so glad I got through that plateau. (I hope this doesn't come across as boastful, I am just so happy) | |

| You do amazingly well Irnbru & I'm not bored of hearing about your activities! I couldn't do a quarter of what you do before needing a rest...in fact just thinking about doing all that would make me want to have a nap!!! | |

| morning all how's everyone doing? I dunno about anyone else but I can't see any signs of this heatwave that is supposed to be happening - its a bit grey here - but maybe it will burn off in a bit. As usual I am waiting for my gym stuff to dry so that I can get along there. I keep on planning to get to the classes but they all seem to be in the morning and I need to get my gym stuff done the night before so i can get up n out the door, but always seem to get sucked into the housework and working weekends means that nothing gets done when I am at work so have to do chaos management on a Monday mornings - it's very frustrating. | |

| It's boiling already here, I really can't cope with heat just wish it would go away.
Got some real motivation to shift the weight now as i've just booked a holiday to Florida for January, so need to get a move on now!

| Heatwave here also! Like you Starbuck I struggle with excessive heat & my hair struggles with humidity!!! Putting suncream on everyone before 8am takes ages as well! I need one of those spray tan booths, but that sprays SPF40 'once' lotion instead!!! Holiday sounds good Starbuck!! | |

| Yeah that's why were going to Florida in January, I just couldn't stand the heat in the summer. I'm ginger and freckly so heat does not agree with me! | |

| oh Florida - that's fab - bet you can't wait - it's a different sort of heat isn' it. it was the only time i didn't burn, peel then turn back to pasty white lol - do you go on all the roller coasters SB? - when i went i didn't fit onto all of the rides - so we are going to go back at some time in the future so that I can - it's on my list of places to go... i love roller coasters as much as music and exercise. we are hoping to get to France next year and am trying not to get too excited about that as there is disney and asterix parc - and can't wait to go on everything about 100 times lol. SB you will be telling me you have curls next - I have straight as a poker brown hair, and always wanted auburn/red curly hair. I have still not got to the gym yet lol - but i have done a ton of laundry and did a huge online shop and made some cards so its all good - | |

| well my hair has got a bit of a curl to it, when it gets wet and if I blow dry it but I always just wear it tied back. I really hate my hair, suppose whatever we get were not happy.
I absolutely love the coasters and still intend to go on them all, even though the kids won't be able to. My mums coming too so it means that i'll be able to go with someone else rather than on my own anyway.

| Anyone else sneezing their heads off or is it just me? Pollen Count is 6 today apparently and I haven't stopped sneezing since I got up despite taking hayfever tabs. Not sure if it is going to be as warm as yesterday but it still feels pretty sticky here! Straighteners at the ready for the humidity war on hair!!! You are right Starbuck we are never happy with what we've been given hair/skin tone wise. I'm very fair skinned, freckly, burn easily but never tan. Hair was copper/blonde as a baby but is now only that colour after a couple of hours in the hairdressers lol, but it does curl all by itself and gets straightenend now and again when I can be bothered! Holiday sounds fab Starbuck - can I come?!! I won't go on any rides though as I get travel sick!! Have a good day people xxx | |

| That's great that your mum is going too - am extra [air pf hands is always welcome It's really not that warm here lol- just warm with a bit of a cool breeze, not the same sort of weather at all you guys are having down south by the sounds of it. 4angels - when i was in asda the other day they had a deal on the claratin 7 pack one a day for £1 so if you need anti-histimines that's the place to go. | |

| Thanks Irnbru. Nothing seems to have worked for me today I have taken my normal hayfever stuff as well as the kids piriton. Strangely, my husband sneezed all day yesterday and today he's fine - maybe I need to dust the house lol!! Today turned out sticky warm with the odd refreshing shower and it repeated that pattern throughout the day (North West coast). Now I sound like a weather presenter!!!!! LOL well it makes a change from talking about food I suppose!!!!!! | |

| Good morning all -how is everyone doing?
It's still a bit overcast here. hope you are enjoying the weather this is supposed to be the hottest day so far.
SB hope you are having great days out and the kids are coping ok with the heat.
4Angels, hope the hayfever has settled down, steaming eyes n runny nose are a pain especially when the sun is out.
I am going to get a psychic reading/clairvoyant thingy tonight- so it's a girls night in - I volunteered to get the snacks so that I could get carrot sticks and low fat dips too lol - i just seem to think that way now - mind you yesterday i had two cherry bakewells and a handful of sweeties - and yeuch talk about sugar overload - i felt awful afterwards - lets hope that never happens with cheese lol i could never sustain a healthy eating lifestyle without cheese lol

| to be honest I havn't had a great week, it's just too hot to go anywhere.
I probably sound like a real grump moaning about the lovely sunshine, but I just can't tolerate it being this hot. I've been in a constant bad mood for days because I can't sleep and the sun just gives me a headache.
We did go out yesterday to town for some leisurly shopping and it was a nightmare, both the boys were really naughty 'cause they don't like the sun either.
hoping it cools down soon and then we can go out somewhere nice.

| oh that's not so good at all - it's a shame especially as it takes a bit of organising to get time together as a family and wee ones can get tetchy in the heat - they want to play out then are back in out like they are attached to elastic as it's too hot and even if they have a paddling pool to splash in they need sunscreen all the time. well hopefully it will cool down a bit for you | |

| Hayfever not great at mo and it is definitely not attractive to be sneezing and have watery eyes all the time!! It has been 28-29 *C here and like you Starbuck I'm quite hot & grumpy! It was infant sports day yesterday and it was about 28 *c totally stupid to do it in the heat of the day!! There was very little shade for kids or parents, and everyone was hot, sticky and lethargic! There was a thunderstorm the other night which was really bad and woke us all up at about 3am until 4am!!! It is supposed to be showery and cooling down for the rest of the week (fingers crossed). Thing is we wait all year for a bit of nice weather and then when it arrives we are far too hot!! I had a cornetto earlier.....do I feel guilty?....ermmmm.....NOPE!! | |

| A lot cooler here today, no sign of these massive thunderstorms we were supposed to get though.
Got a very sweet tooth today, think I might go and nick one of my son's curly wurly's.
