Well Done SB and Irnbru - Ive stayed the same this week

I know - I just thought I may have lost about a pound this week - really want to get back to goal !!

im down 4 pounds this week!! Don't know how that happened, as we havn't done anything different but hubby has had a good week too.

That's fab SB you must be really proud of yourself (and well done to your hubby too!!)

I've barely eaten for a week and not lost any weight!!!

Oh well!!!

Feeling weird right now because i've just put my first contact lenses in. I've worn glasses for nearly 20 years now, so it feels a little strange.
And the kids think i'm genetically altered like spiderman or something as I have glasses in my eyes

LOL Super-Starbuck the bionic mum!!! It does feel really strange at first but your eyes will get used to them soon hun!

I went glasses 13-16, contact lenses 17-21, glasses 22-present day!!!! I have too many allergies now that make my eyes itchy & inflamed to wear them, which is a shame as I felt more confident and a little bit prettier with them in (every little helps lol!!), have to stick to my rimless glasses for now unless I feel brave and rich enough for laser eye surgery

Well done SB - know what you mean about the contacts - I went for contacts 18 - 24 and everyone told me I looked better with glasses cheers. Any way - due to a chalk allergy (handy when you're a teacher) I had to ditch the contacts and to be honest I actually quite like my glasses - I thought at first they would look too "heavy" for my face but they are actually quite funky!!

Oh - and weight update - put on 2 lb

Hi everyone, after a pretty rubbish week, i've managed a 1lb weight loss.

Well better than nothing I guess

well done on your lb loss - stop looking at it as hardly worth a mention - thats 3,500 calories less you have consumed/burned off to do that - well done

despite not going to the gym all the dog walking must be helping as I have managed to lose 1 lb

Well done Irnbru, you are probably still toning as well as dog walking must keep you really fit.

Starbuck, Irnbru is right a 1lb loss is great and you have had a couple of good losses...so your body is probably going 'What the hell...' and needs a bit of time to catch up. Believe me I know its easier said than done to stay positive as I really struggle myself....but you are doing so well hun - honest!!!

I've stayed the same this week which I'm pleased about - Im staying positive as well - I went shopping last night (through necessity - work skirt finally died) and had to go out of the changing rooms and get smaller size

Well done Stella! That must have felt really good to need a smaller size!!

Any joy on the Christmas ball frock yet?
I'd struggle with that as clothes are a nightmare for me as I don't feel I look right in anything (and I tend to say I won't go to things so I don't have to find clothes!) - have a told you before that clothes are a nightmare
