| What's everyone doing today in the ? I've been out to the bay with my hubby and boy's. We had a good time, and a good walk! Couldn't find anything really healthy to have for dinner out though, so had a cheese and ham toastie. Could have been worse I suppose. | |

It took me ages, but was a job well done, if it hadnt been windy I wouldve gone for a cycle, but its no good when its windy. hope its not windy tomoro so I can go out then, so fingers crossed everybody

| It felt brilliant, I even put a couple of them on just to see how loose they were. what good motivation it was, and just so I was tempted to remove any, just incase I put the weight back on, I got my son to put the bag in the wheelie bin. I just have to throw my trousers out now, Ive got trousers in 5 differant sizes, im going to be ruthless ( i think, HOPE) Its all good though lol | |

| Oh well done bugbear - even better that they went in the outside bin- no turning back now I did it in reverse a bit - I realised that it was getting me down seeing how many clothes used to fit me or were a bit too tight - so I have kept my stripey jeans and my main target top in my wardrobe and the rest have been stuck out of sight at the moment. | |

| Thats sort of the same thing I did Irnbru. My gran came round with this big bag of clothes that id put in her attic, when I was pregnant and needed the room in the wardrobe. Found all of these lovely clothes, but they were all way too small. Working towards fitting in them again though! | |

| Hey wonderwoman - you are so close to your stone - but when you are ill you are ill - it's frustrating especially when all you want is comfort food - but even if you just tread water for a week while you get better thatfirst stone will be biting the dust soon enough Starbuck - yeah the sight of all these clothes that used to fit were getting me down, so feel better and I know they are there and like having stuff to look forward to fitting again but the pressure is not as bad. I never got to the gym this morning before college and I felt like something was missing lol - I usually feel more alert at college and I think the exercise sets me up for the day. I have my final graded exam in a fortnight so trying not to let the stress distract me. | |

| I will get to the gym in a bit - I keep a health and fitness log and my book is nearly full so I am copying all my stats onto a new book. I have noticed that where the weight loss has dropped off so has the exercise and also when i haven't kept a food dairy its kind of stayed static - so at least I know I can maintain - but now I feel it is time to take it up a notch - for my paintball and next 38 lb target.
After this month my college will be finished then I have all the way until September before I am starting Uni so can't wait to get the rest of the house done and then I am going to overhaul the whole garden and of course have more gym time. Mind you the list of things I am going to achieve in the summer break is getting a bit tardis like lol

| hey guys, just thought i'd post since im having like the shittest day known to mankind. I suffer with rosacea and flushing so i went to my GP and ask [demand ] some medication to stop me flushing, but the other week when i went [for an unrelated issue] my doc discovered i had a heart murmur so ive got to see the cardiologist for a scan or something, at the hospital. Anyway, today my GP said she cant put me on any medication until i get this scan on my heart cos the medication available all works on the heart and could be dangerous. and apparently, to top things off, the waiting list for this particular scan is VERY long. So i'm actually fucked. And red faced. just when i think there is nothing else my body can throw at me, it does. Not only is it content with putting on weight at the drop of a hat, no only is it content with making me blush like a tomato for NO REASON, it fucking goes and developes a heart murmur. This whole thing has been stressing me out so much i dont feel like eating half the time so i wouldnt be surprised if ive lost some weight, unexpectedly. I'm trying to stay positive and use some techniques ive read about to both lessen the flushing and build up my self esteem, but its difficult. anyway, coming here makes me feel so much better, and my doc said to try to take my mind off things and i should feel better so i need to be more active on this forum! so please everyone let me know how you're getting on xx

aww drink lots of orange juice (Vitamin C) and keep warm! and lots of soup like Stella mentioned! IF you have a blip dont worry too much. If you're craving some chips or a burger you could try having potato wedges instead (home made), or a veggie burger! theyre low in fat and taste lovely so instead of denying yourself there are ways round it hope you feel better soon! xx

| Sorry to hear about your bad times Flax. I went to the doctor about a month ago for something and whilst checking my pulse she said I had an irregular heartbeat and had to go an have an ECG the next day. Thankfully everything was fine. I know it's not the same thing i'm just trying to say these things happen and hopefully when you have the scan everything will be oka and you can get your rosacea medication. Keep your chin up! Try and concentrate on your healthy eating and not worrying to much about everything else. | |

| oh no Flax - that is really crap - no wonder you're hacked off - is there any homeopathic remedies you can take for your rosacea? - I had a real problem with flushed cheeks as soon as I had a drink and used to use this green colour corrective moisture cream - which was supposed to go under foundation - except as I was younger i used to think the more i put on the less the red would show and remember one bad night where i was asked all night why my face was so green lol - I know that doesn't help Flax - but maybe this is as bad as it gets and the rest of your week is gonna be great. | |

| Aw Flax - I've just Googled and apparently if you avoid certain foods it can help. Perhaps this could help until you can get medication? Just an idea - you probably know this already ! | |

| Maybe you could get a George Forman healthy grill, to tide you over until you get the cooker fixed. The baby one is only £15.00 and there really good. | |

i've got a george foreman, but i've got a bigger one with removable plates so you can give it a really good clean afterwards. it does chicken breasts in about five minutes, tuna, steak, veggies, it's really great and you can fit a fair bit on it; i don't like the baby ones, they look too 'plasticky' but i can't comment on them otherwise, i'm sure they would do the job though
