| Yeah my mums only recently graduated to having the two at the same time. I was an only child so she's only used to looking after one. Don't think she could cope with three either.
Yum just noticed it's Slim Fast o'clock!

| Well I used to be a teacher (imagine having 35 of the little darlings) but the good side of that is you get to give them back at half three. That curbed my broody feelings for several years I can tell you. For some reason though recently I have been thinking about it | |

| to be honest I love the idea of having more kids, but just know I couldn't cope at the minute. My smallest is going to be 2 soon and growing up quick, so there's no baby in the house anymore | |

| I have contemplated teaching but I don't think I could handle the stress that goes with it!! I have done TA work in a 'nice' school but there are some little horrors even there!! You know yourself best Stella as to whether it is something you truly want. It really wouldn't be as bad as teaching!! You get the chance to shape and mould one little person (not sort out 30+ kids who come from different situations and clash with each other). I don't really think that I was old or mature enough when I had my first baby and I was 22 years old!! So goodness knows how teenagers cope with the responsibility!! Starbuck I know how you feel as my 'baby' is 3 and starts school next September! I hope I don't get a feeling of a broodiness after then!!!!! I plan to get a job or go back to college though so it is a new chapter and not the end for me as 4 is definitely enough!!!

| I doubt you are too old hun!
A relative of ours had her 1st baby when she was aged 45 just a few months ago, and my sister in law had her 1st baby at 39 and is trying for her second now she is 42.
There are a few more tests that you need to have and for some people it can take a bit longer to conceive (everyone is different though) but I would not say you are too old at all!! Have you discussed things with Igglepiggle and a doctor yet? (don't answer if I am being too nosey!)

| It's ok - I had an "older" dad (he was 18 years older than my mum and, as much as I loved him to bit, I did get embarrassed when people thought he was married to my Grandma. I don't want to have my little one getting embarrassed because all the other mums are in their 20s.
Me and Igglepiggle (lol) have discussed it - he reckons I'd make a great mum. He already has 2 so Im a "weekend step-mum" at the minute!!

| I'm sure you would be a fab mum Stella if you decide its right for you! I can see why you would have found it a bit embarassing years ago hun with your Dad being a bit older than other dads, but I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about nowadays as there are mums of all ages at antenatals, maternity wards, toddler groups, school gates etc and I don't think anyone bats an eyelid anymore!! Plus....you're not old!!!!!!!!!! xxxx

| I think 4angels is right, there are pros and cons about having kids either early or waiting.
I really wanted kids as soon as possible when me and hubby got married, but I was only 18 and hubby was sensible and wanted to wait till we were settled and had some money.
So we were married 6 years till I got pregnant, but looking back I'm really happy we waited as we had lots of lovely holidays and time together before the kids came.
Lots of people have children later now, so I don't think your possible kids would be embarrassed, it'll you'd probably be the same age as a lot of the other mums.

| Hey Starbuck! I had slimfast raspberry smoothie (won't be having it again) for my breakfast and mushroom soup (150cal) for lunch, only 1 snack of caramel rice cakes so far!
Not too sure on tea yet.......
Got lots of packing to do as we are away to north yorks for a few days as of Saturday. Luckily there is not as much to pack as there is for a summer trip where you have to take jeans as well as shorts cos you never know what the weather is going to do! Not taking any suncream with us funnily enough either LOL!!!!

| Hey 4angels, though you might be away already. I'm not doing to bad, although my youngest seems to be going through the terrible twos a bit early today. It's hard with this changeable weather to get out as much isn't it, and he gets really stir craxy at home. Whilst Thomas would happy sit and home and never venture out, they are like chalk and cheese they really are. roll on saturday I say | |

| Hi everyone!! Hows everyone doing? Phones still broken! don't know whats happening there. Started booking resturant reservations for our Florid holiday, and got to pay the balance on the weekend. It seems to be coming really quickly now. Pushed the boat out and decided to book to have breakfast in the Castle at Disney with Cinderella and the other princesses. Always wanted to go in the castle, so can;t wait. Not sure what the boys will make of it though | |

| Morning Starbuck & Stella! My 3 girls would love a disney princess breakfast Starbuck...they prob wouldn't eat much as they'd be too gobsmacked though!!! Thanks for the holiday wishes Stella, hope Igglepiggle is ok soon hun. Holidays are expensive! We've not been abroad with the kids as 6 passports alone cost the price of a UK holiday Last year we did mainly caravan holidays, but this time we've done holiday cottages which has worked out not that much more expensive but with a lot more luxury and space!!! Oh and Stella btw you are NOT too old for anything....you're only as old as the person you feel!!!!!!!!!! xxxxxx | |
