How to add weight loss ticker to your posts! [ Updated ]

Just a suggestion if anyone wasnt sure how to get one, a ticker is a nice thing to add to your posts!

1. Choose a ticker ruler.
2. Choose a ticker slider.
3. Fill in all the info needed.
4. It will say:

"Cut and paste code for most boards and web pages:
bbCode:
(Message Boards code, FertilityFriend.com's boards, phpBB based boards, Invision Power Board, vBulletin...)"

Copy this code (highlight, ctrl and c)

5. On DS Diet Buddies, click on "Profile" then above where it says 'Registration Information - See my profile' it will say "Signature", click it.

6. Copy and Paste your BBcode into the "Signature" box. Click Save.

7. Click 'Return to my profile".

8. Click "Preferences"

9. Scroll down to where it says 'Always Attach my Signature" and "Always allow BBCode", make sure both of them are on 'yes'.

10. Click Save, and post something. it should work!

My ticker didn't work, just checked that box. So am going to try again

My ticker isn't showing up. I'm using the BB code in my signature box and I've always checked "always attach my signature" in my Preferences. Am I missing something?

OK - being really blonde but I cant find the signature bit on my profile to add it! Please help the dumb blonde in the corner

When you click on the profile bit - look a bot under it - you will be on the information tab - signature is next but one along - once you have done the signature bit - go back to profile and change the tick box on preferences to show it in your signature

ps not dumb at all - took me a couple of tries before I got it right

you are almost there - go back to profile again - then click on preferences and half way down is one called "always attach my signature" and that should be you

Stella - Click on your profile and the first page that will come up will be information. Next to the signature link is the prefrences link, click on that. Scroll a bit down and it says always add signature, click on that bit. Should be fine.
