| it is sad and he does need to lose the weight or he's going to have a lot of health problems before too long; he seems like a nice sensitve chap but he does have to work at it and he doesn't seem to be doing that right now; hope he picks up and stays in the competition! your gym's open late; wow 11pm closing? i thought ours was open late and that shuts at 9pm! i've done my bit today in the gym 30 mins run 50 mins cross trainer 30 mins recumbent bike 50 ab crunches phew! will probably just have a swim tomorrow! or i could have a rest day and go sunday and do gym and pool lol; i'm trying to vary it a bit so i don't get bored, sometimes i just run for an hour [10km] or i do a bit of running and cross training like today; and other days, like yesterday, i just swim 50-60 lengths; i do have rest days though, gym instructor says they're vital especially when doing high intensity workouts like the one i did today | |

| absolutely Kate that is a fantastic workout - you will really need a rest day after that - phew.
I am pleased that i managed to break out into a jog for 5 mins of the 15 on the treadmill - and then managed a personal best of 6.5 km in 15 mins on the cycle machine. - after I did that I just went for a nice leisurely swim. I am pleased my fitness levels are improving.
I am just watching todays biggest loser at the moment - the yellow team are working so hard and then eating it all back on seems madness - how are they ever going to turn it around - looks like if Miriam is up against them they will be vote out I would imagine.

| That's excellent Kate -well done on your weight loss too.
I sometimes get sore knees and they were playing up today so I didn't have a great workout today and I think i will just do my weights & gym ball routine from home tomorrow and just leave it at that - I feel like I have overdone it a bit do gonna take it easy for a couple of days exercise wise.

| aww Wonderwoman, great you managed the exercise, but not so great having to cancel Kate - that is a really fab session - you must have been so proud by the time you finished that - very satisfying. That is my last exam out the way so I feel i can concentrate on the gym and healthy eating a bit more now so can't wait to get stuck in - but going to allow myself a rest day as I am mentally wiped at the moment, my brain is fried lol. | |

| You deserve a rest day - there is no way I could revise for an exam, diet and do as much exercise as you.
Sit back, relax and watch some "chewing gum for the brain" TV.

| I've decided that I am going to start tonight - I'm going to start slow and build up otherwise I'll give up. I'm going to start walking - even if tonight I just get round the block that will be a start. Wish me luck!!!
(I am keeping up with the Callanetics as well)

| well housework can be a bit of a workout, so you have done something! getting to the gym isn't always going to be possible, you can exercise in many other ways, housework is one of them! gardening! walking the dog or just walking in general, running up and down stairs, using an exercise dvd, other bits of equipment you can use at home or a run in the park....you'll find something to suit you, dont' get downhearted irnbru, you'll get there don't be too hard on yourself!
